SecureKey Mini FAQ
Yes. SecureKey Mini uses AES-256 encryption and stores all data offline on a secure hardware chip. Credentials never leave the device or sync to the cloud.
You can still sign in manually. Auto-fill needs the device nearby via Bluetooth. Most people keep it on a keychain for convenience.
Your vault is protected by the master key. Without it, the device cannot be opened. If you believe it was compromised, clear data from the app as soon as you can.
SecureKey Mini uses a CR2032 coin cell that typically lasts 6–12 months with normal use. Replacement is simple and inexpensive.
Browsers often store credentials in the cloud without a hardware secure element. {PRODUCT} keeps everything offline on an encrypted chip.
Yes. Export as CSV from your current manager, then import into the Vault app. See Quick Start for details.
The master key cannot be recovered — by design. You will need to reset the device and re-enter credentials.

Yes. A factory reset in the Vault app erases stored data within seconds.
Alphanumeric characters and common symbols are supported. Use at least 8 characters with mixed case, numbers, and symbols.
Yes. SecureKey Mini supports Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Edge through our browser extension (beta).
Safari auto-fill is available on iOS. A macOS Safari extension is in development.

Yes. Backups are encrypted with your master key before storage. Veridia Labs cannot decrypt them.
Go to Settings → Security → Change Master Key in the Vault app. You need the current key to set a new one.
